I wanted a "dressy casual" sandal that would look cute with summer dresses and capris and this one is perfect. I love the grey color that will go with most everything. The leather fells like "butter" it's so soft. The shoe is very comfortable!

Comfortable shoe but dont hold up well during wear February 12, 2013

These shoes are very comfortable and fit like a glove: HOWEVER, after one wearing for only a couple of hours, there are nicks in the fabric/leather around the heel on both shoes. I'm afraid that the fabric/leather will start to peel there during future wearings. I don't even know how it happened. If the fabric used to make these shoes were more durable, I would have rated these shoes a 5.

I was looking for a pair of sandals I could wear with shorts or something dressier. These shoes have become my all-time favorite. I have them in black and in white. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and they are gorgeous, made of the softest leather in the most stylish sandals I have seen anywhere. This brand is exceptional and I'll look for more Trotters shoes for other seasons and occasions.
Wears this shoe: Casually as well for dressier occasions.

The fit is a bit different because it wraps partway around the back of your heel but I have no problem with the sandal staying on. Nice style, color. No break-in period. Only thing is I wish it had a bit more padded soles like Naturalizer sandals.
