Product Description (Women's Troentorp Bastad Clogs Rembrandt)
These traditional clogs are handmade in Sweden. An orthopedically constructed foot bed supports even weight distribution with a soft step, helping reduce lower back strain and leg and foot discomfort.
Shaped to exact measurements, the cowhide leather uppers are wet-lasted and use hand-hammered stainless steel nails to attach to the moisture-resistant alder foot bed , which has a raised heel and an anatomically correct scaffoid metatarsal arch and toe well.
With 1" heat-bonded polyurethane sole and non-skid tread.

Something old is new Again!

Several things about this shoe should be pointed out:1. leather is stiff, but with a heavy sock isn't noticable.2. You rock a bit as you walk.3. Great arch support, so if you have lower back issues, this may be the shoe for you.4. I love the look, and even better the solid contruction, and mutiple styles.5. I liked the first pair so well, I purchased a second pair.6. These shoes are comfortable.Now for the negatives:1. You rock a bit, and may need a bit of practice walking.2. The leather is stiff, but I feel like they support my foot, by keeping it in place so I don't rotate.3. Cute, but to some may be clunky appearing4. I wish they could be 1 inch lower, I'm 5'9 so I feel pretty tall wearing them. 5. I'm 59 and wooden clogs are so different in feel, but the support is great and I'm sure this will make up for how different they feel to walk in.6. I think I could wear a 12, but I purchased the 11 on reading the reviews. I normally wear a 10 1/2 in dress shoes, and boots. I wear a 10 in uggs, so go figure! I am basing this on the wearing of a heavy sock, so if you can wear them without heavy socks, the length will not be an issue, though my heel doesn't actually hang off the back of the shoe. I haven't tried a 12, but they are offered on web sites that carry them.

I like my shoe but I wish Troentorp offered more choices of colors. I would've liked a lighter brown but that shade was in the nubuck and wouldn't have been good in rain.They are the most comfortable clogs I have ever worn and I did some shopping of other brands this year. All in all I am happy!
Wears this shoe: Every time I leave the house in the winter.
