Troentorp clogs have been handcrafted in the Bastad region of Sweden since our start in 1907. Our clogs feature an orthopedically constructed foot bed that supports even weight distribution with a soft step, helping reduce lower back strain and leg and foot discomfort. Shaped to exact measurements, the cowhide leather uppers are wet-lasted and use hand-hammered stainless steel nails to attach to the moisture-resistant alder wood foot bed, which has a raised heel and an anatomically correct scaphoid metatarsal arch and toe well. Each clog features a 1" heat-bonded polyurethane sole and certified non-skid (ASTM 1677-Mark II) tread. This clog is sustainably made, and slip-resistant (Non-Skid Certified ASTM 1677-Mark II).

Fit: True to size. If you have a wide foot or high instep, for an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 - 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 8.

My list of requirements include ease of installation onto the feet and off. I am a barefooter most of the time but I have found clogs that are comfortable without socks from the start. They are rugged looking and go with the kilts I sometimes wear. I purchased the black Rembrandt in size 45 and next year I will order the brown pair. It's so nice to buy quality items made in Sweden and this certainly was a factor in the decision.

Still breaking them in. Troentorp's were recommended by my boss. Like the wooden sole and the soft leather. Rubber bottom is comfortable and shoe is more stable while walking. Had to go a half size down without the heel so keep in mind if moving from a heeled shoe.

I just purchased my 7th pair of these Clogs. I have been a nurse for 16 years and these are the only clogs I have worn. They are simply awesome wether you wear them at work or just around the house.

I bought these clogs for my husband who is from Sweden. It is difficult to find authentic Swedish clogs in the USA. These are great clogs. Word of warning, you need to purchase the shoe one size up from your standard size. My husband is typically a 44 and I purchased the 45. The 45 fit wonderfully. He wears these clogs as his go to shoe at home. He mows the lawn, goes to the store, etc. They are wonderful in the Minnesota climate. Highly recommend this shoe.
