Troentorp clogs have been handcrafted in the Bastad region of Sweden since our start in 1907. Our clogs feature an orthopedically constructed foot bed that supports even weight distribution with a soft step, helping reduce lower back strain and leg and foot discomfort. Shaped to exact measurements, the cowhide leather uppers are wet-lasted and use hand-hammered stainless steel nails to attach to the moisture-resistant alder wood foot bed, which has a raised heel and an anatomically correct scaphoid metatarsal arch and toe well. Each clog features a 1" heat-bonded polyurethane sole and certified non-skid (ASTM 1677-Mark II) tread. Also featuring: Adjustable Buckle, Sustainably Made, Slip-Resistant (Non-Skid Certified ASTM 1677-Mark II).

Fit: True to size - This clog features an adjustable strap that is great for accomodating a higher instep and wider foot.

I love my clogs! they are the best shoe I have ever owned and I will continue to wear them. I have been wearing them since I was a teenager and I am now in my 50's and I hope to get a few more poppin colors. They are a great support for your body!

I puchased this brand of Clog in 2011. I was so happy with the clog, that I then ordered it in 3 additional colors. I have worn these clogs year round, and I live in the snow county of Western NY, and simply could not phathom the idea of any other shoe. Prior to this a purchased another brand of clog, but I will never go back. I walk exclusively on concrete floors all day for work, and I have never had a backache wearing this shoe. Actually backaches when I don't wear! I plan to order 2 more pairs of this clog. I hope to never have to wear another shoe again!
Wears this shoe: For everything. Work, leisure activity, bedroom slipper.

These clogs are unbelievably lightweight and offer great traction. The Raphael is stylish and accommodates my high instep. I am a consistent size 9 and ordered these in size 39M (following the manuf. size guide which indicates it's for sizes 9 - 9.5) and was disappointed that it is inaccurate; these run small. The workmanship is exceptional but there are some inconsistencies when I compared left with right, hence the 4 rating. I have heel pain (plantar fasciitis with spurs) and have decided to return these in favor of getting a clog that has a cushioned foot bed. I cannot get used to the idea of having a wood foot bed, although I am sure it would be ideal for many.

These clogs are well made and very comfortable. I was surprised that they have three layers (leather upper, wood middle, rubber sole), but they still maintain the "traditional" wooden clog look and feel that I like.

Very comfortable, contoured footbed, solid wood, yet does not feel like wood when it is on. Nice enough to wear with business casual clothes, good soles/non-slip.
