Troentorp clogs have been handcrafted in the Bastad region of Sweden since our start in 1907. Our clogs feature an orthopedically constructed foot bed that supports even weight distribution with a soft step, helping reduce lower back strain and leg and foot discomfort. Shaped to exact measurements, the cowhide leather uppers are wet-lasted and use hand-hammered stainless steel nails to attach to the moisture-resistant alder wood foot bed, which has a raised heel and an anatomically correct scaphoid metatarsal arch and toe well. Each clog features a 1" heat-bonded polyurethane sole and certified non-skid (ASTM 1677-Mark II) tread. This clog is sustainably made, and slip-resistant (Non-Skid Certified ASTM 1677-Mark II).

Since having foot surgery last year, I have had a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable. I have a fairly wide foot, and am pretty flat-footed. I did size up, and would recommend sizing up 2 sizes if you want to wear very thick socks. These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I love clogs anyway. Being able to slip them on and off quickly is important to me. I wish I would have found this brand earlier. These won't be the last I buy.

I've been wearing Troentorp clogs since high school. My doctor suggested them to increase circulation in my legs and alleviate shin splints. I own a pair in every color and I prefer this style for the comfort band across the instep. I can walk all day and night, I wish my tennis shoes were this comfortable!

The shoes are exactly the way I remember them from the 70's. I like them a lot and whenever I wear them, I receive compliments. I enjoy the fact that my feet never feel too hot or too cold in them. I also feel they support my feet well.

I have just learned how to knit socks. Beautiful striped wool socks. They need to go with shoes that show them off and that don't wear out the heels. So, I bought some clogs, remembering them from my youth. The clogs are better than I remembered. They fit perfectly with a pair of wooly socks and the carved bottoms fit so perfectly that it feels like wearing no shoes at all. Mine are a cheery red.
Wears this shoe: As soon as I take off my athletic shoes or my dress shoes, these go on.

I love this shoe. It's comfortable and cute. I got a blister when I wore them without socks, but they look better with socks anyway. The only complaint I have is they are a little tight across the top. It might stretch a little, but it holds it on my feet so securely, that I can run in them! Not a good idea with other clogs!
