These traditional clogs are hand-made in Sweden. An orthopedically constructed foot bed supports even weight distribution with a soft step, helping reduce lower back strain and leg and foot discomfort.
Shaped to exact measurements, the cowhide leather uppers are wet-lasted and use hand-hammered stainless steel nails to attach to the moisture-resistant alder footbed, which has a raised heel and an anatomically correct scaffoid metatarsal arch and toe well.
With 1" heat-bonded polyurethane sole and non-skid tread.

Although I enjoy the quality of both pairs of Troentorp clogs they were not the size that I needed. I could appreciate a half size larger to which the company does not make. Why not? Many women in this day and age wear size 11 so why does the shoe size stop at 41. I will wear them, however, I bought two pairs of Dansko's nursing shoes and they had a size 42 and fit great!! I truly wanted these Troentorp clogs because of the strong wooden heel and its' life wearing them. Hopefully this will change. Oh, yea, I liked the styles of both pairs.

I have owned a pair of Bastad/Troentorp clogs continuously for 30 years. When one pair wears out I buy another. They are more comfortable for me to wear all day than any other shoes including running shoes. I wear them any time I'm going to be standing for a long period of time. I can't wear Dansko because I have low volume, kind of narrow feet and they are sloppy.These always fit, are comfortable and supportive.The red of this pair is very bright and I'm still getting used to looking down and seeing how bright they are, but its kind of fun. Also, they are incredibly durable. I finally threw out a pair recently that I had for 16 years!

I recently broke my ankle and needed surgery so I cannot wear my wonderful shoes yet.But I have slipped them on my feet to try them on and they feel so wonderful.I cant wait to heal so I can wear them all the time.
