These boots are nice to look at and comfortable to wear. They certainly kept my feet dry, although they could be a little bit taller, in order to keep my pants dry as well. The back of my calves got wet as I walked through the rain. I'm not sure if that was due to the rain itself or to water that had been kicked up by the boots. The boots are great for the city, because their tread grips well on pavement and, more importantly, on wet floors inside building. They may not be so appropriate for mud, because the tread is not deep.

Loved the style and color, very cute boots! The size was a little snug, but hoping to break them in to loosen them up a bit.

These rubber boots are so comfortable that I took a 4 mile walk through prairie and woods the first time I wore them! My feet loved staying dry through the wet grass and also appreciated the support and comfort. I did not wear socks and my feet did not slide around. Since then I have also worn them with summer weight socks and they fit well.I have seen Swedes wearing rubber boots like this and wondered why they would subject their feet to the discomfort of rubber boots when they were biking or shopping after work. Now I know that they were enjoying the comfort of their Tretorns in both wet and dry conditions.I am thinking of buying some boots like this for my daughter living in Chicago, who is dependent on her own feet and public transportation regardless of the weather conditions!

I bought this boot 1/2 size smaller that I wear and it fits well - just a tad roomy at that - love the boot.
