Looks great, takes a day
By Ben, from Philadelphia | July 18, 2014

The shoes look awesome, I've already received several compliments. It took a day for the shoes to feel right though. I was originally going to send them back, but the logo wore off. Regardless, I'm happy now, they fit fine, give them a day. Also, the sizing is strange - I'm a half size smaller in Tretorn than I am in other brands.

Tretorn Nylite Canvas $39.95 - $51.95
Not the same as pictured....
By Brian, from Knoxville, TN | May 29, 2014

I have been going back buying sneakers from my younger days and wanted to get another pair of Tretorn Nylites. I was looking for some that were a bit more substantial than the ones out currently, and these looked more like the older ones. However, what was sent does not match the picture. They are the new ones which are relatively comfortable but are more off-white than white and are less substantial in make. A good shoe, but a little disappointing. So with all that said Shoebuy.com needs to update their photo for this shoe.

I like the charcoal grey color; love the sneaker-like look sole, and find it us easier to walk in these lower mid-calf rain boot vs knee high rain boot - I would recommend.

Tretorn Skerry $34.95 - $59.95
My Skerry Boots.
By Helena, from Montreal, QC, Canada | May 09, 2014

There are many things I like about my new Tretorn Skerry boots.First off, I bought them because my feet got soaked on my first rainy walking trip with my Daughter in her stroller, and when I wore them. On our second rainy trip out, they did their "job" and kept my feet warm and dry, which was the goal, so YES I like them! However, in an 8 1/2, they look a little less trendy than my friends size 6s do, or maybe it is because they are so~o matte!

Shoebuy Insider on Tretorn Shoes

Aside from Gene Kelly and maybe Rihanna, few people look forward to a rainy day. The reality is we're not often singing in the rain, jumping from puddle to puddle in a joyous dance. No, instead we are running to work, desperately trying to make it from point A to point B with minimal water damage to the new leather shoes we probably shouldn't have worn. I'm sure Gene was full of regret after all of that rain ruined his oxfords. And, contradictory to the song, we're not often huddled under our umbrella (ella, ella, eh) with a bestie. Nope, real life downpours usually leave us saving excursions for another day. Sorry Rihanna, no room for you under my umbrella.

Most of the time, though, you can't hang around waiting for the storm to pass, especially if you lead an active lifestyle. That's where Tretorn comes in. Tretorn began manufacturing waterproof footwear in Sweden at the end of the 19th century. From rubber boots, they have grown to produce sneakers and eyewear for customers loyal to their quality products. Offering protective and colorful rain boots for men, women, and children, Tretorn gives you a reason to sing and dance at the sight of even the lightest drizzle (or at least the tools you need to do so).
