Tretorn Nylites, born in 1967, were soon regarded as the first luxury sports shoe. These canvas tennis shoes reigned supreme on courts around the world in the 1970s. With a distinct "v" toe shape and lightweight rubber outsole, today's Nylite maintains the same timeless design, but now boasts a variety of materials and colorways. The Tretorn Nylite Canvas features a plush terry lining that provides sockless comfort. Traditionalists favor the tennis whites, but the color contrasting Gullwing logo offers a fun alternative.

The sneaker is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I like wearing it without socks and can wear it all day. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an all around sneaker.

Tretorns canvas sneakers have been my favorite shoe for 14 years. I find them comfortable, with or without socks. Shoebuy had the best price and shipping was quick. I wish the color selection was a bit more.

Tretorn Nylite canvas tennis shoes have been my favorite shoe -- period -- for 30 years. They are comfortable, flattering to the foot and they last for years with proper care. I wear a woman's size 9 but because I can never find them, I order a men's size 7, which fits perfectly. The colors of the gullwings seem to change over time, but I bought the white on white this time. They're classic. I looked at many stores online before finding these. Shoebuy had the best price and delivery was fast.
