I felt we'd be in for a snowy winter and wanted a waterproof boot. These are not super-stylish but fit the bill. I was glad I read other reviews about them running large because even with my orthotics they seem a little big -- room for extra socks if needed.

I really like the insole of the Tretorn because it's pretty soft and comfortable. It's easy to walk in because the rubber is very flexible. I've been wearing it for a few weeks now and it's still in excellent condition. The only thing I dislike about the shoe may be the width of it. It's not very wide inside the shoe, but on the outside it looks a lot wider than a normal rainboot, making my feet look kind of big

Reviewer: Margo from Washington State Comfortable boots right out of the box, but for me, they are not a size larger than normal like some reviewers said since I want to wear thick socks and put felt pads in the bottom. They will be great spring and summer boots for the NW though.
