I've always liked Trager products for their ability to provide spaciousness, durability and convenient positioning of pockets and the like. While the transporter is good to carry a laptop but not a whole lto more in terms of papers and files, it will hold a reasonably small amount. I got it just as a compact satchel to carry papers to work daily. I use the pockets inside that ostensibly are for laptop accessories to store such things as my palm pilot, checkbook, and the like. This bag holds surprisingly more than you would think to look at it on the outside. Also has a convenient outside sleeve/pocket for magazines or newspaper, along with a vertical zip pocket in the front for additional storage.
