Weird fit but a great boot

This is my 3rd pair of this boot. If you have extra wide feet- this shoe is too narrow- it fits more like a D width than EE as advertised. Commendably, the company makes even wider sizes- but no 3W... the next size up is 4W and I swim in them. I have the 4W for when I need multiple socks and I keep the 2W for when I wear thin socks. The boot is warm- but not warm enough for very cold weather. That's a plus in my book because last year I wore them daily instead of sneakers, without sweating. If they would just make a 3W- or adjust their sizing to a normal EE fit, I'd give it highest rating. They last well. BTW I have the velcro closure boot similar to this one too. They're useless for walking support, but easy on-off for a short trip. They have the same sizing issue.

Comfortable with the right sock

I like really like these boots. They are comfortable, however, I wish I had bought a half size bigger. I have a really narrow/small foot. And these boots were really snug around my foot with a medium thick sock. They felt really nice with a thin sock. But then, as I began to wear them more frequently (I only wore them to work and I have a desk job,) the sole of the boot began to separate. And I only have had them not even for one full season yet. Before next season I will have to have the sole repaired.

I've worked in the shoe industry for 15 years and these boots live up to its name. I've been looking for a perfect pair of for a long time and these are perfect. I love the WW width, soft leather, non-slip rubber outsole, shearling lining and not so heavy weight. Perfect for snow country but also good for raining area since it is waterproof. The shearling lining is almost too warm for Los Angeles but kept me warm and dry during this week's rain. Also, it is not too heavy either. You really can't find a better boot out there.

The Last Boot I'll Ever Buy (Maybe)

I purchased these boots because I plan to make another trip to AK in February. I do not live in a snowy climate but I'll be back to AK again during the winter months in the future. I was there in Oct and it snowed 3 or 4 inches -- could have used these boots then. These are quality boots and I think they will serve me well. I did have to return them in exchange for a half size larger than what I ordered (so, in reality, I went up a full size from my regular shoe size) because I just did not feel comfortable with my toe so close to the top of the boot (with socks on).I have not received the larger size yet but I am confident they will work out -- the leather is soft and pliable and the lining is adequate as well. I hope my feet stay warm.

So far I do like the shoe. It is comfortable, can wear one pair of thick socks comfortably. I wore them a on pretty cold day and my toes did ok.I haven't had a really cold day yet to test them out. My toes get really cold and usually hurt they are so cold. I would normally by a 71/2 wide with a normal sock. I bough a pair of 8 ww and can wear as I said a pair of thick socks comfortably.
