Good function, harder to get on/off than others December 27, 2011

Bottom line: Buy them. They are very functional and will keep you dry and not let you slip.PRO: The cleats are very aggressive. Excellent in snow, slush, and on ice. They cover your shoe very well. The material, PVC (not rubber like the 1800 model), is very thick and will not tear (like the rubber models can).CON: The inside is not as smooth as rubber the 1800 is are a bit more difficult to get on and off. I wear a leather soled shoe and it is not bad but a crape soled shoe will be challenging. You won't put them on standing up. They are more stiff than the rubber models but they also cover your shoe better. They also don't stretch as well as the rubber model (like the 1800 commuter). I wear a 12 narrow shoe with a larger leather sole (Florsheim Imperial) and it fits well. If you were a 13 wide, it might be more difficult.Summary: I use these for winter or heavy rain, and the model 1000 commuter for light weather. My "CON" may sound bad but they are very good shoe covers. They would rate a "5" if they were smoother on the inside.

This is a good value for a durable strong overshoe with good traction. They look kind of large on shoes but do well in snow.

I need to buy this style due to my size 15 shoes. I use them for dress to go to work. It is the only style in size 15 that I saw. This model is very well made, heavy duty and looks like it will hold up very well over time. So far I really like them and would recommend them to any other shopper.

Perfect fit for dress shoes January 26, 2010

I wear winter shoes marked size 10 so I ordered size 10 rubber shoe covers which were too tight but perfect fit for my summer dress shoes. I am afraid to order a size 11 for it might be too long for my feet having a high arch. I wonder if you sell a size 10 in a wide might help.
Wears this shoe: The first Spring rain.

Not over rubber soled shoes January 07, 2010

These shoes are very sturdy and have high quality. But my primary use for them is over walking shoes that have rubber soles. The interior surface of the boot is fairly non-slip, making them nearly impossible to get on and off. The heavy duty construction makes them pretty non-stretchy, adding to the difficulty. They work much better over dress shoes.
Wears this shoe: Snowy days.
