These are very traditional rubber boots but that's a good thing - they work great. I use them to protect my work boots when out in deep snow and when working in messy areas. They need to be a bit larger to fit over my workboots so when I wear them to class over my sneakers they flop around a lot but that's not a problem.They are very easy to adjust with the front clasps and they are very comfortable even after a full day wearing them. They're also a bit heavy but that's not much of an issue most of the time. I'd say that you really need a pair of these boots to protect workboots or sneakers - they're super handy.

I bought this boot for my father - he seems to think he will love it - but we are on our 3rd try to get the size right. The reviews said it fit true to size, not true. We went up 2 sizes - still too small. I'm ordering again... 3rd times a charm! : ) But great customer service and great deals and products!

I remembered that when I was growing up and in the military, I always had a pair of 5-buckle arctics. With all of the snow this winter here in the Midwest, I thought that I would get back to basics... so I bought these boots. They fit as well as they could considering they are 13's and they work well. For ease of fit,order them a size larger than your shoe size. Small problem: just a little concerned that the buckles and hinges are a little flimsy, but time will tell.
Wears this shoe: Walking the dogs, shoveling snow, on the jobsite etc.
