I use to wear the 1500's when I was a teen through my 20's. What a great pull over. I have yet to find them locally in Virginia Beach but Tingleys were a part of my growing up. I need a pair now and will buy some. A great pullover and its great to kick them off with out bending over.

Tall Tingley rubber boots - always have a pair around

I always carry a pair of these boots in the trunk. I've been caught in a downpour or stuck in the mud and these are just the ticket to keep my sneakers or and jeans dry and clean. They are very lightweight yet seem tough. For use over work boots I have to go up one size but that's not too surprising. I have also used these boots when spreading roofing tar and they're great keeping me clean plus the tread is real safe. Actually I like the tread and design much better than what they've done with the shorter version of this boot. They can get real hot real fast and they are not lined, they're just rubber. This means you can wash them real well inside and out but drying the insides takes a while. I sometimes have trouble taking them off so you have to take your time. If you have a tight fit you can always put a little silicone in them. I ripped the part that goes over the side button to close them but it glued easily. I was trying to get them closed with my gloves on and overstressed the material too much. Also, on a ten year old pair I was trying to pull them off with my other foot and riped the heel area. So, the rubber does age but they don't seem to crack.
