I wanted something easy to slip on to keep my athletic shoes clean when I go outdoors. I wear athletic shoes with orthotics indoors for medical reasons. Now I can go outdoors without changing shoes.Since I am protecting New Balance women's cross trainers size 10, I needed to get the men's extra large. Anything smaller would be too small. The shoes do not fit into the heel, but this is not a problem. It is a small challenge to get them on properly. Obviously they are not made to protect athletic shoes, but they work fine for me. I checked "felt true to size" because there is no option for "don't know." They seem to be very well made.
Wears this shoe: Whenever I go into the yard.

I read all the views saying that these ran small. I wear a women's size 10-11 and wanted these for a pair of square-toed boots, so got men's large size. They aren't too small! They could be a little smaller, but are staying on the boot, so I'm happy. The bottom isn't especially good for snow/ice, however, so beware if you have those conditions. Will probably use them with yaktraks.
Wears this shoe: We have more ice, very little slush, so I probably wont wear them much!

I had read several reviews by women complaining that mudshoes for females were too narrow for athletic shoes or workboots, so I purchased the MEN's Tingley 1000 commuter, figuring it would be wide enough for this application. They are FANTASTIC!! They are low around the front, but with a higher heel coverage so they stay on securely, and are definitely easy on, easy off. I wear a 6.5 athletic shoe/work boot and purchased the men's medium 6.5-8. I would recommend the large for 7-10 size women's shoes. Now no more changing shoes to run out in mud or snow, or cleaning shoe treads.
Wears this shoe: Out in yard and to barn to feed in mud or snow.

These are impossible to find anywhere. I was happy to find them with you. They are a life saver for walking on ice, Chicago weather not the greatest. We bought 2 pairs for different shoe sizes. Love them.
