Timbuk2 Element Water Resistant Jacket for iPad
Better than expected

I bought this ahead of a vacation so I could bring my iPad to the beach or pool and not trash it. The iPad fits nice and snug and the touch pad works fine. The holder on the back is very convenient. I've since used it as insurance against getting caught in rain on my commute. It's a great accessory.

Timbuk2 Command II Medium
Nice bag, a little snug on my computer

The bag itself is really pretty great. It has lots of pockets & features designed to organize all of my stuff. The bottom pocket for the power-brick is a great feature, it's out of the way, and the cord doesn't tangle with everything else in my bag. Lots of pockets to keep my tools, widgets & business cards separate. The bag itself is very well made and looks like it will last a long time. I'm very happy in general.I should, however, have bought the bigger version of this bag, although it says my computer (Dell XPS L502X) fits the bag, the TSA pocket is really tight, & I have a hard time getting the computer out. I can only put it into the pocket in one direction. Not a fault of the bag, just of the description. The only other issue is that I have a hard time closing the bag. The hooks that hold the bag shut are awkward to insert behind the straps that hold them, there isn't enough slack built in to let them slide under easily. This, combined with the tight TSA pocket means I probably will walk around with my computer unsecured more often that I should.

Great Bag very sturdy! Nice adjustable strap. Holds my keys, wallet, mace, knife, phone and still has room in the exterior pocket.

Timbuk2 Command II Small
Nearly perfect bag

I spent a lot of time researching bags before buying this one to replace my day-to-day work bag that I've been using for over 10 years. I use it to mainly tote my essentials to and from work (no laptop) which is why I opted for the small. It's got a great array of storage options, nice compartments, a great strap and more. The pros are too many to list, so I'll list my few gripes with the bag.1) All the small storage keeps things in the center of the bag. This causes a bulge in the middle. It would be nice of some of the compartments were closer to the sides.2) The loops for the strap on the sides of the bag are low, and get in the way of the bottle holder.3) The strap bad is a little wimpy, I upgraded to their deluxe strap pad.4) The hook closures can be a tad difficult to engage while you are wearing the bag.5) Either I wear the bag goofy, or some of the features are designed for lefties, like where the napoleon pocket opens and the water bottle holder.5) The front flap feels a little small, I kinda wish it was a bit longer so that when the bag was stuffed it covered more of the front of the bag.Overall though, it is really a fantastic bag that can hold a lot of stuff with ease, looks great and is durable as anything else out there. There was clearly a lot of thought designing the bag. I'm a product designer who used a single bag for 10 years, and the list above is just my thoughts on what's keeping this from being perfect in my book. But I would by it again.

I love the look & style of this bag. On top of that it is very convenient - roomy but well structured. I love the small pockets (the outside one is perfect for my commuter rail pass!) and the bright red hook for my keys, as well as the stretchy water bottle holder. I would highly recommend this bag.
