The shoe's are just about perfect! It took about three days to break in the outer right ankle. It was just a little stiff. It can take a beating.

This is my third pair of these shoes--the last pair was purchased in 1999, and before that in 1992. I get 7-9 years worth of wear in all conditions, and the comfort hasn't changed. I'll plan to buy my next pair in 2015!

I have a very small foot: 6 mens. It is very hard to find shoes. Often I have to spend a lot and pick from a limited product line. Finding these shoes that are my size, reasonably priced and that I also like was very welcome.

I can recommend this shoe for it's constant quality and perfect fit - if you are not sure about the size, rather go 0.5 larger, but usually they fit pricisley.
