This boot features a waterproof upper with a waterproof membrane, Goodyear Welt Cast-Bond™ construction for a durable mechanical and chemical bond, a TiTAN® alloy safety toe for lightweight protection, a fiberglass shank, anti-fatigue conical midsole geometry featuring polyurethane material, a moisture-management anti-bacterial Dri-Lex® Eco Bamboo collar, a mesh lining with Agion® antimicrobial treatment, a contoured single-density open-cell polyurethane footbed, and metal eyelets with cast top hooks. The single-density polyurethane outsole is lightweight, yet rugged with exceptional cushioning and is oil- and abrasion-resistant. The aggressive tread design features triangular lock lugs that provide maximum traction.

I bought a pair of 6" Timberland Rigmaster boots a couple of years ago for work. I'm retired now and the boots were so comfortable, I decided on a pair of 8" boots and they are every bit as comfortable as the 6" ones. I use them for yardwork and for searching for graves in overgrown cemeterys.

Mainly needed a boot at work that had ankle support!!!! Climbing around on military vehicles that's a good 10 feet in the air and jumping off of them.Walking around outside the majority of the day in HUGE water/mud puddles...And still have my feet feel perfectly dry...FROZEN...But dry.Not good insulation from the cold,but wool socks helps A LOT!!!! Helps keep my feet from sweating and adding to the cold. Anyways, these boots are affordable and to this moment pretty darn reliable.Its taken me some time getting used to tying my boots again... switched from pull-on steel toe cowgirl boots.
