This is my second pair of the steel toes. Last purchase, i threw them on one morning and never looked back. This time, the shoes sort of rubbed a couple of blisters on my feet. Having to break them in gradually.In fact I'm wearing the old ones today.I'm sure they will break in soon.

At last, the perfect work boot!!! I have searched for years to find a boot that fits my needs. I have been getting the PIT BOSS (steel toe) from Timberland for about the last ten years. I am very hard on boots but I get about two years out of a pair, I then "retire" the boots to domestic duty. they are in good enough to shape to wear around the house. I will never buy a different type of boot. The most comfortable.

I work in construction, and frequently am in mud and water. I have ordered this style of Timberland steel toe over and over, because it always holds up for many months under the worst of work conditions. I find that the toe box is nice and roomy, as other brands can be tight across the toe box. However, it would not be considered a "wide" width. Of all of the brands that I have tried, the Timberland is reasonably priced, and very durable.
