I bought this shoe in smooth black as I wanted a good looking work shoe was that comfortable for my high arches. Plus, I wanted a waterproof shoe as I'm fairly active. This shoe was a little stiff at first, but quickly broke-in and became my favorite shoe. Looks good with khakis and jeans and doesn't need to be polished. I just bought a 2nd pair as backup, even though the first still has a long life ahead.

this shoe is a notch above fair to middlin'. It seems well constructed but the comfort I've felt in other work shoes just isn't quite there.

I had a pair of these about 4 years ago. They have worn very well and now 4 years on i have replaced them due to sole wearing out. They polish up very well and last a very long time (I used them 6 times a week... thats a lot of milage) - Apart from long life they are very soft to feel and feel great on your feet *** Also shipping to the UK was very quick - 3 days..**
