I need shoes for the office and for a commute in cold and messy weather. I like the looks and the water-proof feature. Overall The shoe feels like they were made 30 years ago - very heavy and very rigid, particulaly in the heel area. I understand and support Timberland's pledge for sustainable and natuer-friendly foot wear. However, this should not mean getting back decades in comfort. I would not buy this shoe again.

My husband is very hard to fit shoes for - size 7R. He enjoys the Timberland brand, but never can find his size in store. I am very pleased with the size and fit of these. He likes the waterproof since sometimes is rains here in Florida.
