The toughness of a work boot meets the comfort of a sneaker for this multi-purpose shoe. First, you've got a steel toe, a non-negotiable feature for the worksite. You've also got flexibility and breathability from the combined fabric/leather upper. But what really sets these shoes apart is the protective Electro Static Dissipative feature designed to keep you safe at the workplace. Imported.
Made with an uninsulated, oiled full-grain leather upper for comfort and long lasting wear, a Goodyear welt construction for rugged durability, with a removable, contoured sock liner for comfort, a welted lug outsole for exceptional traction and the Timberland PRO logo on side.
PRO 24/7 Comfort Suspension technology is a unique comfort system that meets the most rigorous work site demands -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It helps reduce foot fatigue, support the arch and cushion every step.
All of our ESD footwear meets ANSI SD Type 1 for static dissipative footwear to reduce your risk of static shock. Our steel toes meet ANSI Z41 PT99 safety standards and feature a roomier steel toe box than most other boots for a more comfortable fit.

Timberland Gorge - comfortable

The shoes were comfortable from minute one. Laces tighten easily, something you don't always find with athletic style shoes. I order steel toe shoes one width wider to give the toes lots of room because the steel toes don't flex. I'd buy them again.

I was looking for a workboot to wear for summer projects and came across this one. I specifically wanted something comfortable but with a steel toe that protected me from being clumsy and dropping, for example, large blocks of concrete on my feet and working in flip-flops was no longer an option. This is a very comfortable workshoe and definitely protects your feet. Plus, it is great in warmer summer weather if you are working in shorts rather than go for the whole boot.

I love the look of the shoe and overall ruggedness. My only complaint is the toe area is slightly on the narrow side compared to the body of the shoe. I wish the shoe was just a little wider.

I like the shoe, but it seems a little tight. I wear a size 15W, but should have bought a size 16. Other tan that, it is a great light shoe.
