I program on an industrial floor, and so the only reason for the steel toe is to meet a generic plant standard. This shoe looks and feels like my everyday shoe. I am sitting 80% of time, so can't speak to the standing comfort. I wear the shoe 5% of my time.

The shoes look very nice but they are not the most comfortable steel toe I own. No way I could stand in these all day so it is a good thing I sit most of the time for my job. The shoe laces are poor quality. They are just twisted strands and within a week one of the laces started unraveling. Pretty pathetic due to the fact that I have a desk job and they see very little wear.

These shoes are all they said they were. A perfect fit from the get go. No new shoe blister etc., just a beautiful comfortable cushion filled fit.I was apprehensive regarding the people who reviewed these shoes, well I am one of those who only have great things to say.One has to understand that these are Steel Toe shoes, if they do not fit from the first try you are screwed as they do not stretch.Well Timberland you have me as a customer for life.Great Shoe, Great Fit.
