Features of this oxford include premium polished uppers, Scotchgard™ protector by 3M that provides stain resistance, a SafeGrip™ slip-resistant sole that grips both dry and wet surfaces, an internal leather-lined top collar, anti-fatigue technology for added support and cushioning, and a non-metallic fiberglass shank. The Timberland PRO® thermal plastic urethane outsole has a low-profile tread patter for high surface contact and is slip-resistant and non-marking.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I have an older pair of similar style Timberland shoes that I've liked but are falling apart after several years of heavy use. I couldn't find the exact same style to replace my trusty pair, but these seemed close. However, the quality of these is not as good as my old pair. They just seem a bit cheap. The leather seems plastic-y. (I actually can't find any indication on the shoes regarding what the material is, which I thought was fairly standard for shoes.) I don't see these holding up nearly as well as my other pair.

I have been a Bartender for going on 7 years. I started out wearing cheap shoes ($30). Finaly decided to start buying quality shoes since I'm on my feet for 40 plus hours a week. I was a fan of other shoes but the pair I liked was discontinued. In a way it was a good thing; the Timberland Meurice is the best dress reasturant shoe I have ever worn! Definitely buy a half size smaller than usual, otherwise the fit is perfect and very comfortable. I won't even look for another shoe, definitely buying more of these.

I'm a waiter in a busy upscale restaurant, and I have tried several different brands of shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, they look great, and my chronic foot pain is much much better! Worth every penny!

Bought these shoes for my son in culinary school. His other shoes had fallen apart at the seams. Needed somes fast. I bought them with some apprehension not knowing if he would like them, if they would fit, and had to have them shipped to him in Maryland also. So I was semi-shooting in the dark. If they didn't fit I was toast. They shipped without any problems and he loves them. Good shoes
