I was looking for a business casual shoe that would be lightweight but durable because I do a lot of walking in NY City. Leather soles just don't hold up to the amount of walking I do. This shoe fit the bill. It has a nice professional look and a durable rubber sole without being too heavy or thick looking. I can wear this shoe with a suit or with a pair of Dockers and look appropriate for either. .
