This is a good looking hiker that has great fit and comfort. It took about 2 weeks to fully break the shoe in but now it feels great. I had (2) major concerns during the 2 week "breaking in for comfort": 1)Ribbon shoe string eyelets--I would have preferred steel or plastic eyelets made into the canvas body of the shoe. Instead; the manufacturer chose to use a sturdy ribbon fabric with stitching to form the shoe string eyelets. So far, it is holding up very well and it is no longer a concern. 2) Hi-Top collar--The back collar area of the shoe rubbed my leg above the ankle and made it uncomfortable to wear the shoe for long periods of time during the "break-in period". It took about 2 weeks to break the shoe in. The shoe did not fit well during this period because the materials were so stiff that I could not keep my foot from sliding back and forth, that movement around the collar resulted in a slight bruise. After the collar softened and conformed to my ankle area, my foot stopped sliding and the shoe fit comfortably. There are no issues with fit now that the shoe is broken in and the materials are soft and supple enough to conform to my ankle and foot area. This is definitely a best buy and I highly recommend this shoe. I would certainly purchase this shoe or this brand again.

These shoes were purchased for a manufacturing environment. They are lightweight, especially for a steel toe shoe! They are comfortable but as noted ran a bit small.

I bought this shoe for my son for Christmas -- well it lasted for about 2 months and all the shoe lace brackets tore out.
