This eco friendly boot has a premium burnished full grain leather upper made with leather from a Silver rated tannery, a 100% organic cotton and 100% recycled PET lining, a leather lined footbed made with leather form a Silver rated tannery, an EVA Smart Comfort® chassis, 100% organic cotton laces, and a Green Rubber™ outsole. Earthkeepers™ products feature leather from tanneries that are rated Silver by a third-party environmental audit, at least 10% renewable content, Green Rubber™ made from 85% post-consumer tire crumb rubber, 50% certified organic content, one or more components made from 50% recycled PET, the plastic used to make soda bottles, and one or more major components made from at least 10% renewable content such as hemp or bamboo viscose.

I wear a size 15, but had to order a full size smaller to find the right fit. I did have some soreness in my foot after the first day of wearing them as well, but it has not been as much of a problem the more I wear them.
