The inspiration behind our new Earthkeepers boot is borne out of our desire to create an original, outdoor-tested boot with a smaller environmental footprint than other boots. Here they are - Timberland durability and lightweight versatility - the lining is made of recycled materials, the outsole is made with recycled rubber and they're waterproof. Leather covered, removable, Smart Comfort® system multi-density footbed provides support and comfort, regardless of whether you are walking or standing. Seam-sealed waterproof construction keep feet dry in any weather. Moisture wicking textile lining, 70% made from recycled material, keep feet dry and comfortable. Leather rand for extra protection around the sides. Incredibly durable, rubber lug outsole made with 30% recycled rubber. Airport friendly nylon shank provides support, stability and shock dispersion and should not set off metal detectors.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

Great looking boot and very comfortable. If you are used to work boots, these are not them. You will not get the support from this pair of boots that you are used to with a pair of work boots. I love them, however, I realize where I can and where I can't wear them.

Got them just in time for wet weather, gave them a little neetsfoot oiling, and have worn them every day since Christmas. I've been in the woods with them a good amount and even though this type boot isn't meant to be in very deep water, I've ended up in a few deep spots and have yet to get wet socks. As for the style/appearance/craftsmanship of the boots , I can't imagine getting more in this price range. Lots of great stitching that makes the Earthkeepers much more of a work of art than the classic Timberland boot.

These boots fit well enough and they look pretty good, but after 6 hours of wear the stitching in the tongue came totally undone. Now they are not wearable and need to be restitched before they are even broken in. These boots might work for a lawn party, but don't expect to wear them for work, or more than once. I expected more from Timberland.

I purchased these for my adult son. He has 'hard to fit' feet - wide width with a high instep - and doesn't find many shoes to his liking - even fewer boots. These Tims are comfortable, well made and look good. He couldn't be happier.
