Moisture wicking textile lining, 70% made from recycled material, keep feet dry and comfortable. Leather rand for extra protection around the sides.
Incredibly durable, rubber lug outsole made with 30% recycled rubber. Airport friendly nylon shank provides support, stability and shock dispersion and should not set off metal detectors.

I wish that the boots had hooks on the top of several eyelets to facilitate lacing up. I might get a shoemaker to instal them if possible!

Overall it is a great boot but I have been wearing size 8.5 forever and the 8.5 was more like a nine. I exchanged my 8.5 for a size 8 and it was perfect so if you buy this boot i would consider getting 1/2 size smaller than what you normally wear. The size 8 is exactly the same size as my old boot that was an 8.5 Rockport Lakota. Once I got my right size I was happy with the boot.

It goes great with jeans or trousers. Sole is VERY comfortable! Unlike any other boots I have before, the sole felt like it is air infused. If this is all laced up, it makes it quit easy to walk since the weight is distributed to your ankle and not resting on top side of your foot. I have replace my tennis shoes with this for any casual outing activities.
Wears this shoe: Casual work day, any given weekends.

This is a very light, supple boot. Well made and handsome. I wouldn't hike or work in it, but its perfect for knocking around in or casual dress. Not much support or protection. Very happy with this purchase.
