This shoe is easy for my 5 year old to put on and take off. It is comfortable and has great support. Even the first time she wore them, she had no complaints. The piece that changes color is small, but pretty cool. It goes from completely clear to a dark purple in bright sunlight. My daughter has very narrow feet and this shoe works, but it would also work for someone with wide feet. The foot bed is wide, but the adjustable velcro straps make this a versitle shoe.

The sandals were a perfect fit for my daughter and the right color! She has a narrow foot and this style allows her wear a sandal that she can tighten to fit. Since she is very active, it is great for running and playing safely without having to worry about them slipping or falling off. We bought a similar pair of Timberland sandals last year and even worn every day over the summer they were in good shape at the end.
