I love these boots!! I am doing the Milford Walk in New Zealand in Jan 2009 & can't wait to wear them again. They are so comfortable & I feel I will never break an ankle wearing them.
Wears this shoe: Where I will do some serious hiking/bushwalking, unfortunately not enough.

I wore these hiking shoes for about a week on short walks to break them in. Today I went on a 3 hour hike --mostly on rocks and pebbles--and they were extremely comfortable. I bought them a half size larger than I normally take because I wear thick hiking socks (my feet, particularly my toes, tend to get sore very quickly). At one point we had to hike through a shallow creek and I inadvertently stepped in the water--thought I'd spend the rest of the hike with sloshy shoes but surprisingly they dried very quickly, so it was not problem. I'd definitely recommend these hiking shoes--yes they're pricey, but I expect them to last for years. Most importantly, they don't hurt my feet!

I bought this boot because my old boots were worn out at the padding for the achilles tendon and had become uncomfortable. The new boots are very stiff, but are breaking in nicely.
Wears this shoe: I wear this boot for heavy walking, and inclement weather.

This is one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. It doesn't rub any toes or other parts of my foot, yet the ankle is snug enough that it doesn't slip, either. It looks good, too. The tongue is not webbed, so it's not for deep water.
