True to length; I find that Timberland's medium width is a wide width in most others. I got the wide's and they were way too big for my EE width foot, so went back to the medium width. These probably act most like a low top hiking shoe, with a bit more ankle support. I wouldn't use for a backpacking trip, but for day tripping carrying a kid or a day pack they are great. Nice enough to wear to the office or other casual wear.

Great work boot. Top quality and great fit. I work for AT&T and Timberlands are the only boot I wear. At this great price I bought 3 pairs. I will be back.

I have been wearing this boot since January 2008. They have held up very well. My feet stay dry even after stepping into water 8" or so deep. They are very comfortable, so much so that I ordered a second pair before they get replaced with something else. They are light weight and have the comfort of a shoe. Break in period is only a couple days, and discomfort was minimal. I had them on 9 hours a day, 5 days a week straight out of the box with no blisters. Highly recommended.

It is a good fit for a wide foot or a high instep. Low cut in the rear keeps it from digging into the achilles tendon. There was no "break-in" period. It fit like an old boot from day one.

When I ordered these I started having second thoughts. My toe doctor told me to get shoes in 4E. Well I am happy to say she was wrong. These boots fit perfect. They feel so great on my foot. Not like most boots I get that feel bulky and awkward when you walk. These are easy to wipe off if you get something on then and they keep your foot nicem, comfy and war. Anyone looking for a great, high quality boot, that is 100% worth the money, I would say give these a try. My size is 15, so I was extra happy that they had this in my size. I don't know why more companys don't have 2/3xlt shirts and shoe sizes over 14. I mean the more sizes you have, the larger your market will be.
