This is my first pair of Timberland Boat shoes as I only have Sperry's and decided to give these a shot.Since I'm used to Sperry's the Timberland Boat shoe seems a little heavier compared to the Sperry's. In addition a downside to the shoe is that is pretty wide and Sperry offers Narrow, Regular, and Wide boat shoes. I tend to use the narrow ones. These came in only one width and they were wide and heavy for me.They are very comfortable and I love wearing them!Overall, great shoe although I would definitely get Sperry's over the Timberland's and the price tag isn't much of a difference between both of them.

Do NOT buy these shoes. I bought them in January (and its only March!) I work two days a week. So in reality, Ive only worn them 28 times. The strap is already broken where it buckles!! I should have read the reviews BEFORE buying!
