This is my first pair of Timberland Boat shoes as I only have Sperry's and decided to give these a shot.Since I'm used to Sperry's the Timberland Boat shoe seems a little heavier compared to the Sperry's. In addition a downside to the shoe is that is pretty wide and Sperry offers Narrow, Regular, and Wide boat shoes. I tend to use the narrow ones. These came in only one width and they were wide and heavy for me.They are very comfortable and I love wearing them!Overall, great shoe although I would definitely get Sperry's over the Timberland's and the price tag isn't much of a difference between both of them.

Upper shoe leather is tender, yet durable, and molds to foot; however, the sole of the shoe is hard as a rock, and you will need to add your own shoe cushions for comfort. The hand-made style gets instant attention. over all, it is a likeable shoe.
