The Altamont fisherman is a very comfortable but sturdy shoe. I rated it as being wider than the M stated because I usually need a wider width but these feel just right. I had previously purchased a pair in brown and liked them well enough to want a pair in black.
Wears this shoe: Both at work as business casual and with shorts on the weekend.

I really like this shoe. I purchased it to replace an old pair that I wore to work. It has comfort, easy to clean and a nice look. It has the support that is need for working outside, and side vents to keep the feet from the odor.

I was looking for a sandal that could pass as dress shoe to wear with suits. This one works well. The openings are large enough for circulation and close enough to not show too much sock. Great for anyone with diabetic or neuropathy conditions. They are lightweight and very flexible.
