This is my second pair of these boots and I'm sure I'll buy a third and fourth pair as well. Excellent arch support and glove-like feel make them the most comfortable pair of "work" boots I've ever owned.
Wears this shoe: I wear these boots out in the barn/pasture with our miniature donkeys.

This is my second pair.I haven't found a more comfortable safety boot anywhere.I do a lot of walking on rough terrain and these boots are awesome.

This is actually the second pair of Timberland Alpine Hikers that I have purchased. The first pair I bought at a local sporting goods store about a year ago. I wear the shoes 6 days a week for outside work. I have found them to be extremely comfortable with an excellent fit. They are great for walking in everything from grass to mud and I have also found them to be excellent for walking on roofs, as the lug soles provide great traction. These shoes are also water proof which is nice if you are working in wet conditions. I was so impressed with the first pair, that when they wore out, I ordered another pair. I had to replace the first pair because I wore out the soles to the point that the lugs were smooth. I will buy another pair of these shoes when I wear these out.

I was looking for a comfortable shoe I can wear every day, and hike in on the weekend. The steel toe may be overkill, but I just love this shoe.
