This mining boot is built for extreme conditions. It features a waterproof upper and waterproof membrane with Thinsulate™ Zone insulation (200g/400g), a Timberland PRO® rubber toe protector, an antimicrobial lining, a shaft flex band, dual-purpose top hardware, Goodyear welt construction, a flexible Steel-Flex® puncture-resistant plate, an internal anatomical contoured metatarsal guard featuring open-cell polyurethane and rubber, and a contoured open-cell polyurethane footbed with Dryz® Intellitemp™ X-Static® combined technology that provides superior moisture management, temperature regulation and silver fiber-based antimicrobial protection. The Timberland PRO® rubber flex rocker outsole features a polyurethane-filled Independent Suspension Network™ system and is slip-, heat-, oil-, and abrasion-resistant. It features a Ladder Lock™ outsole radius.

I got a pair of these for work, I do excavation, but I like them so much I ended up getting a second pair for everyday wear. They are extremely comfortable for such a heavy duty boot.The 14" height is fairly uncommon but provides a lot of support and feels great.Feet feel good at the end of the day, no hurry to get them off as soon as possible after work like with most work boots. The wife says they look good too!
Wears this shoe: Wear it almost all the time, except to church and playing basketball

I love these bad boys.Wow comfortable all the way around.EZ to lace up and look sharp to wear.I get 3 more pair if need be.Get them now before they discontinue them.These are great and best kix I ever bought.
Wears this shoe: any time ,wore them to a concert sat nite and felt great.
