Lightweight, waterproof, breathable jacket for all-around exploration in changing conditions.
Standard fit, waterproof, breathable, is seam sealed, and the hood rolls to collar height.
Adjustable hood, brushed chinguard lining, pit-zip vents, and two hand pockets.
Jacket stows in left pocket. It also has VELCRO® brand touch fastener adjustable cuffs and a hem cinchcord. (VELCRO® is a registered trademark of VELCRO® Industries B.V.)

2nd North Face Venture Jacket December 29, 2010

My first NF Venture Jacket was purchased for a trip to Alaska, recommended and bought at a local outdoor sports retail store. It was blue and purchased in 2006.The jacket was excellent, and when worn with a fleece undergarment, blocked the wind, and retained body heat, and it became my most used and trusted piece of clothing , it kept rain off and wasn't bulky. After 4 years of constant wear, however the inner lining started peeling off, the jacket was still wearable , but the lining was shedding on all my clothes when worn.Replaced it with a TNF Red Venture jacket purchased from Shoebuy, it is the same high quality , the fit is perfect for me, I chose red as a higher visibility when taking my daily walks. I like the styling,pockets and fit, and think the quality of this jacket is high.I would recommend the North Face Venture Jacket to anyone wanting a versatile , lightweight, rain resistant layer type jacket.

Best light weight rain jacket I found November 01, 2010

This fits the bill on the wet but not cold days although you could layer it. The jacket is very light weight but still rugged enough to take it. The fit is true to size and the pit-zips make it a real winner. Buy it you won't be sorry.
