This is a relatively thin fleece, but perfect for fall-type weather, and the fleece material itself is very soft. I also love the color I got (Taupe Green). My only complaint is that the sleeves on a large are a bit shorter than I would prefer. But I'm a relatively tall guys (6'1"), so it probably wouldn't be an issue for someone shorter.
