NEARLY Perfect Boots

These boots are everything they're advertised to be. They're extremely warm, in single-digits weather (with wind chill) my feet feel like they are still snuggled underneath my blanket at home. They are also waterproof, capable of withstanding torrential rains as well as the occasional misstep into a puddle. Water runs right off the toe section. I wear my pants over the boots so I don't know how the upper handles snow and rain. They are at first a bit stiff out of the box but soften after a few outings. So far I haven't felt any slippage when walking on snow/slush/ice, so I'm definitely happy with the traction. They are also heavy (like all boots) but you feel it mostly when going up stairs. With the laces fully open at the top the boots slip on/off quite easily. The ONLY complaint I have is that the label on the inside of the tongue chafes the shin really badly, so make sure you wear high socks or cover up with sports tape or something.

My husband works in Aspen, CO in negative temperatures and always had freezing feet until he got these shoes. He says they are light as a running shoe, extremely warm and never slip on ice. This is an amazing shoe!
