I honestly didn't know there were North Face shoes. So I was pleasantly surprised to see these and I bought them without much hesitation for my hubby. He wears a size 12 and I was a bit worried about the fit (not that my hubby is too picky). But when they arrived we were both pretty happy with the fit and the way they looked on him. The shoes are true to size and hubby also mentioned that these were one of the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn! A great buy indeed!

I love hiking. When I saw this shoe, it looked like one which can be wore at Workplace and hikes alike. I bought it in Summer 2011 and the shoe looks in good shape to this date !It has survived wet/dry/cold/super-hot all kind of hikes in Yosemite, tahoe, beaches - sandy or rocky alike, apart from almost a year of wearing it at workplace. It is extremely stable on all surfaces due to good grip in soles. I use it in gym as well since I only do lifting inside the gym. Overall, a good buy.

Quality material and comfortable enough for everyday wear if desired. I work in emergency medicine and wore these boots to work for a 4 hour shift with the intention of hiking afterwards...well it ended up turning into 12 straight hours on my feet without a hint of discomfort. I've mucked around in them, worn them in snow/slush and the waterproofing is solid. I'm an 11.5 and these fit true to size although they seemed a bit snug on my toes the first day or two however that soon went away (maybe pressure on the toe area while boxed?) Overall very satisfied, when you spend over 90 dollars on a pair of boots you expect comfort and quality and these have delivered. As far as long term quality I can't make any statements as I've only had them about a month.

These boots are really nice, but I ordered a half size larger and they were still very snug.
