Designed to negotiate technical, varied terrain over the course of multi-day expeditions, this full-leather hiker delivers waterproof, breathable, GORE-TEX® performance and technical, X-Frame™ stability for demanding trail conditions. This athletic shoe has a 2.0-2.2 mm BLC compliant full-grain, waterproof, one-piece leather upper. It has forefoot, midfoot, and heel-flex underlays. It includes medial and lateral X-Frame® Roll Control® stabilizer, a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, protective rubber toe cap, heel mudguards, and a gusseted tongue. It also features a Northotic™ ergonomically designed footbed with Poron® forefoot and heel inserts. For long lasting underfoot support, it is made with a 3.0 mm injected polypropylene insole board. The bottom features Heal Cradle™ technology encompassing a dual-density PU midsole with an injection-molded EVA X-2™ heel insert. For optimal support and stability as well as push-through protection it has a full-length, nylon-perforated shank. An exclusive Vibram® durateck rubber outsole specifically designed for varying terrain with self-cleaning lugs provides superior traction and stability underfoot for a long haul.
