Features abrasion-resistant, bomber synthetic nubuck and breathable sandwich-mesh upper and gusseted tongue.
Northotic ergonomically-designed footbed with Poron forefoot and heel inserts and AgION antimicrobial footbed covering and a lightweight, compression-molded EVA midsole.
Heel X2-02 air pod and injection-molded TPU shank plate.

Great shoe, one minor quibble

Overall a great "heavy" running shoe/"light" hiking shoe. Fits great, supportive and looks fairly stylish. The only small complaint I have is the laces. They are fairly thin and "slippery" and thus difficult to tighten as quickly as I would like. Not a deal killer though.

I bought these North Face sneakers as they're my third pair and my second hasn't worn out as of yet. Just don't want to see them out of stock! They fit great, wear great and are fantastic on the feet!

I wear these shoes everyday in a retail setting where I stand and move most of the day. I still like something I can go hiking with and running. They are comfortable for all of it. Great arch support (whereas Merrell absolutely kill my feet), lightweight, breathable and comfortable. The ONLY downside is that I have a hard time keeping the shoe laces tied. They want to untie themselves easily.

This shoe has an awesome fit, although it took about an hour out of the box to get it perfect. The first run out of the box was a 3.68 mile wooded trail that gained 1700 ft of elevation, and this after a rain! I had not a single fall and only one tiny slip. These shoes do not go anywhere you don't want them to! They're easy to clean and resilient, and they also don't "stink up." I'm thrilled, and I'm sold on another great investment!
