Nice fitting pants for a larger person
By George, from Steamboat Springs, CO | January 03, 2013
The pants fit quite well and are warm enough with just a base layer on moderate ski days (15-30 degrees F). Side vent allow good cooling on warmer days. For colder days, I use fleece pants, so I do not need specifically insulated pants.

Awesome Pants!
By The guy in the Freedom Pants, from Michigan just walked through a fresh 20 of snow | February 03, 2011
My wife got these for me for my Birthday and I love them. I have used these pants three times and like them more every time. I am 5'8" and 170 lbs., I normally wear a 32x32 and the "Large" fits me perfect with room around the waist for an under layer and enough length to cover boots well. The legs are large and don't constrict movement at all, they also look cool. If you're into emo, these are not for you... I got the insulated version, but the insulation is very light (thin as a light base layer "long john"). The inside is as soft as fabric can be (underwear is optional)! With a pair of long underwear on they are perfect for snow shoeing in 20 degree weather with the vents half open (they make a big difference). They appear to be very durable, especially with features like the heavy-duty fabric on the backs of the bottom 3" of the pants (same fabric as my OR Crocodile Gaiters) to prevent wear due to walking on them. Quality is super, 100% waterproof, and with the vents you can wear them in anything from a zero degree storms to a 40 degree early spring day. If I lost these, I'd buy the same pair again.
