This is a terrific pair of boots. Though a medium width, with my usual foam insole added they are a remarkably good fit on my narrow, skinny feet. The fully adjustable lacing helps a lot. I'm especially impressed with the good fit in the heel, which is where shoes and boots are normally very loose on me. The picture doesn't show it, but there's an approximately 7-inch zipper at the ankle area on the inner side of the boot, which is a big help in getting them on and off. In spite of that, I also recommend a boot length shoe horn to get them on without breaking down the top of the heel cup.The flat heel and rounded toe make them comfortable without looking clunky. They are in fact a very neat and classy looking boot. Although, they are a bit cumbersome to put on, having to tighten and tie the laces each time. A full length zipper would have helped a lot with this. Also, they are not quite as warm as I might have wished. I wore them to take my dogs for a 20 minute walk in 20 degree weather with a good wind blowing, and did find my toes were beginning to feel a bit chilly by the time I got back. Haven't had occasion to test waterproof quality yet.
Wears this shoe: Pretty much everywhere in cold weather.
