My Teva Toachi is a great sandal. It's supportive and comfortable for hiking and wearing around, and its not noticeably affected by water. It has several adjustable straps that make for a custom fit.

I bought the toachi due to the ingenious toe protector which protects my toes against rocks etc. I have two issues with this sandal. and only time will tell if theyare issues or not:1. The arch support is high and I got a blister in the arch area on my left foot when walking barefoot in the sandals. 2. Durability remains unproven for me. The outer sole of the sandal includes a lot of hard plastic, and I reason that when I have worn down the sole 2 mm or more overall, then these plastic parts will come in contact with the ground, resulting in a loss of traction.

I bought this shoe because I wanted a sandal with more coverage of the foot than other sandals provide. It is very comfortable, fits well and provides the extra coverage, especially in the toe area.

Innovative Shoe

These awesome looking sandals has a few innovations:- a small covering protection in the front for the big toe and the next one- a system of holes for water (or sweat) evacuation though the sole.Drawbacks:- I ordered a sandal of US size 9, which normally corresponds to European size 43. The box and the show shipped were indeed 9 but were also indicating European size 42 instead of 43 (normally corresponding to 9). They are indeed 42. My feet are 42,5 . The sandals still (but tightly) fit my feet, but only when bare/naked, not with socks on.-in the front, the sandals are so narrow that your toes cannot have a straight position, the sandals are too thin at the level of the toe (bad for perspiration of toes). I think it is better to have shoe where the big toe has enough space inwards, to that it is not pressed towards the other toes.- the inner piece of cloth under the front wrapper get folded when you insert your feet- the shoe are tightened by a clip, which is fast one the wrappers are adjusted. I fear however that the clip s will break at some point- the relief under the shoe could be really improved, there are many shoes with a better relief underneath giving a much better grip.I spent more time explaining the drawbacks, I however think these shoes are very practical (even if they leave room for perfection)

My husband loves them

My husband has told me many times, "I love my new Tevas!". He says they are the most comfortable sandals he has ever owned. From the start, he has been able to wear them with out any hot spots or blisters. They fit perfectly. I can't say there is anything he does not like about them.
