I've had 5 or 6 pairs of Teva sandals. They just work. The sole has great traction, it has good support and the strap system is simple and secure. I wear them hiking, boating, lounging, whatever. They fit my bunions well, too.
Wears this shoe: General wear, hiking, boating, wading on rocky beach.

I bought these to replace my prior pair of Teva's that were several years old, in preparation for a trip to Hawaii with a lot of water and hiking. The tread was ecxellent. They did not require any breaking in and were comfortable throughout two full weeks of fairly intense kayaking, beachgoing, hiking and sightseeing. In fact, I wore them for everything except a bike tour (for obvious reasons).
