Comfortable from the time I put them on. These sandals were a replacement for a prior similiar pair that I purchased in May of 2000 while on vacation in Key West, Fla.....they finally wore out after all these years. I have worn them every year for 10 months out of the year....in the fall I wear them with socks till Michigan winters get so severe for about 2 months, then I'm forced to wear a regular shoe. I need orthotics for my poor feet, but I do fine without them if I wear my Teva Sandals. Even an Orthotic Specialist told me that they were extremely well built in regard to the insole and the support that it offered. I'm very happy! I just wish that there were more styles offered in simple generic colors.....some of the styles appear rather garish to me and I don't have much of a variety to choose from because of that. I could use the plainer color's with a variety of clothing....but not when they are so bright and colorful...it then becomes very limiting to me. The styles usually look very comfortable and well made...but the colors turn me off. Thanks for providing such a comfortable shoe.

This sandal was exactly what I had in mind when I made my purchase. Since I hike quite a bit, I needed something to make wet crossings and hike when needed, also.

This is my third pair of these black heavy-duty Teva sandals.I love them!I wear them pretty much every day of the year, except in the depths of winter.In the fall and spring I wear them with Smartwool socks.They have taken the place of slippers for me.I wear them to the swim club.I wear them in the back yard.I had to order a new pair because my previous pair that I bought last year was wearing out. The bottoms were getting a bit slippery (I am a heel striker), and the Velcro was getting all out due to daily use.I have other plastic Teva sandals(and black and brown leather ones too for "dress"), but I like these because the sole is comfortable and the black color goes with everything.My foot is extremely narrow, but these sandals are perfect because I can crank down the straps to make them fit my narrow feet and narrow heel.They also work for my daughter whose foot is even narrower (AAA with a AAAAA heel).Did I mention that I love these sandals????

I am Diabetic. The brands of sandals I have used for many years no longer work. They now cause ulcers, which have been so persistent that I was about to be scheduled for surgery on my left foot. I hunted everywhere for a sandal I could actually wear, including trying medically designed post surgical shoes. Then I remembered a wonderful sandal from the past, except I couldn't remember the name - until now! I was able to find exactly what Tevas I needed. I have been wearing them for about a month. They are the only sandals I can use. I also use them as slippers. I no longer have ulcers! I only wish they came in other solid colors like brown and navy. If they did, I would buy them.

Received the shoes, put them on and did yard watering for two days solid in them. They're great--wet or dry. Bought them for this type of work and they proved excellent for the use intended.
