Inspired by lodges and wrapped with running rivers of webbing for performance, the women's Kiru waterproof slip-on casual shoe is designed to endure the outdoor life and to transition from the trails to the taverns instantly.
Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

NOT waterproof. January 01, 2012

I bought these shoes on the premise that they would keep my feet warm and dry as I tromped through puddles at work. They seemed waterproof at first; I splashed water on them and dipped them in a lake as a test and the water simply rolled off. Using them daily at work where I tromp through puddles almost daily, however, the waterproofing proved to be inadequate. My socks started feeling wet at the seams between the sole and the uppers, and eventually the shoe simply started soaking through as the waterproofing wore off. Keep in mind I haven't had the shoes for very long now... maybe a month and a half.As for sizing, the shoes were quite snug when I first put them on but as I kept wearing them they eventually stretched to fit my feet (it took maybe a week). So if the "waterproof" feature is not something you care about I'd recommend either getting your normal size if you don't mind waiting for them to stretch, or ordering a half size up if you want a good fit upon receiving the shoes.

I loved my pair of Teva Kiru's. They are extremely light, fit very well and I find them to be a little narrower than your normal medium width shoe. They look great with jeans or casual pants and have a nice tread.

Love the shoe. It has good support and like the look and feel of it on my foot. It felt a little tighter than size initially but stretched out a bit. Shoe is well made and looks like it will be very durable. Considering getting a second pair in another color.

I discovered Teva flip flop shoes this summer and fell in love!! Now that the weather is colder I had to get a pair of Teva shoes. I am on my feet all day as a teacher assistant in a kindergarten class. These shoes are fantastic for someone who is on their feet all day. Do not hesitate to get them. I have their flip flops in every color!

This shoe is very warm and feels very comfortable like a snug fitting slipper. It looks very attractive on, though nicer than most slippers. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear after reading other reviews knowing I wanted to be able to wear them with socks. Thank you other reviewers! I have worn them to go out on errands, around the house, and walking my son to the bus stop. I may wear them other places as time goes on. I have worn them with jeans, yoga pants, leggings, and I may wear them with even dressier slacks. They are a little more difficult to put on than 'slip-on' which I was already aware of from other reviews, also. Overall, this is a great shoe, yet I am glad I did some review reading, first!
