I am a big man 6'6" tall 295 lbs. I also wear a size 16 shoe. These sandals ae the most comfortable I have ever purchased. As far as duribility I would have to rate them at a 10. I wear them almost daily and have done so for over 2 years. I am just now starting to see some wear in the soles. The face that they are totaly adjustable is an important faceor for me since I sometimes have swellinf in my feet. I would recommend these sandals to anyone looking for a durable, comfortable sandsl.

As a diabetic with pedal neuropathy, under most circumstances I wear nothing else. No pressure on toes. Comfortable and supporting.

This is the first pair of Teva sandals I've ever purchased and they have become my favorite pair of sandals ever purchased (and I've had several pairs of Birkenstock sandals). Super comfortable and lightweight - but with the sole of a more rugged shoe. Love these and will most likely buy another pair when these wear out.
Wears this shoe: Every day, as long as it is warm enough out.

I bought a pair of Teva Hurricane XLT about a month ago. I find them very comfortable and stylish. I am going to wear them to the water park this summer. I had another pair back in 1995, and it was just a few years ago that I finally gave them up to the Salvation Army. These sandals are also very durable. You wouldn't be disappointed with them. If there was one negative comment is that it takes a few days to break them in.
Wears this shoe: On the Weekends and while I am doing yard work.
