Sturdy sandals, but run large. March 15, 2013

These sandals work great because I bought them an entire size smaller than I normally wear (usually a size 8, but bought these in size 7). They look good (bought the celtic blue) and are comfortable casual sandals for all day use on the weekends.

I really like it; it seems like it will last me a long time. I've always had a problem with sandals and durability. The traction is also really awesome. And the fact that I can walk in the water with them without ruining them is great.

These Tevas are simply an extension of my feet. I wear them nearly everyday - even with socks when it gets chilly! The three adjustable straps enable them to conform to almost any foot. They are comfortable to walk in.

I have one other pair of Teva's that I bought years ago. This new pair is made as well and is as comfortable except for one thing. The strap on the back of the shoe is not quite as tight fitting as my previous older pair. I have tightened the strap but I think my foot must be quite narrow above my heal and the strap might be a little more narrow and doesn't quite feel as secure on my foot as my old ones. Other than that I really do like the shoe and may try some others now that I know where to find them. I like the smoother surface, my old ones have little rubber tips on the whole sole, this new pair is much nicer without those. One more thing, the shoe size now, matches the size I bought years ago, so it was nice they haven't changed their sizes and you can count on getting a shoe that fits the same and is the same size.

I like my Tevas because the front strap is far away from my toes. I have claw shaped toes and also get dyskinesia in my toes making them forcefully contract into the tops of my shoes. The dyskinesia is a side effect of Parkinson's medication. because of these problems I was starting to get corns on my toe tops. The high Teva strap helps avoid this. Tevas are the only sandal I could find that does this. Thank you.
Wears this shoe: Anytime I go out of the house.
